About this Tip Calculator
Tip Calculator helps estimate a gratuity, total payment and equal split among several people. It is intended for simple bill splitting where everyone shares the same total equally.
Formula or method
Tip = bill × tip rate; per person = (bill + tip) ÷ number of people.
Example
A 15% tip on 50 is 7.50, making the total 57.50.
